Course Testimonials
From Sara & Agate @Agsventure
"The results speak for themselves. We take Agate everywhere we possibly can with us. And at 8 months old, we are constantly getting compliments about how well behaved she is. Often, when we take her out to dinner, we hear “oh, I didn’t even know you had a dog with you”, because she is curled up, quietly under one of our chairs. Siberian Huskies are not known for their calm dispositions, in fact, quite the opposite. So it shocks some people when they see Agate calmly walking in a heel in downtown.
If you truly want to achieve a calmer state of mind for your dog, this course is for you. I love that Stacie isn’t actually training the dog, she’s training you to train your dog. This means that when issues do arise, you will feel more comfortable navigating them because you have a solid foundation in working with your dog. While this course is not specifically a relationship building course, I think the biggest takeaway might be that Agate and I have a significantly stronger bond as a result of all this training. She looks to me for guidance when she is confused or unsure and trusts me to help her navigate the world.
I first heard about Curious Canines through Stacie and Briggs’ Instagram (@thecuriouscollie). When I saw that they were launching an online course about how to create calm for high energy dogs, I immediately knew that I wanted to learn more. We have been unable to find a trainer here that aligns well with our ideals of dog training, but after a quick glance at the website and watching the amazing connection that Briggs and Stacie have, I knew I was ready to commit. The course was intended to last 8-10 weeks, but full disclosure, I ended up watching all the content the first week and then re-watched and took notes as we progressed. All in all, I implemented each of the lessons over about 5 weeks since our dog, Agate, was highly engaged and motivated."
